Alberto was born in 1977 in Cernusco sul Naviglio during a Juventus UEFA Cup match — even though he’s a die-hard AC Milan fan — and on the same day as Chris Martin, just to say it because it sounds cool.
He grew up in Milan, between school and the chlorine of swimming pools.
While studying Economics at university, he was swept into the world of photography thanks to a chance encounter in New York with Pierpaolo Ferrari, who предложsed he work as his assistant, despite knowing absolutely nothing about photography.
A Sliding Doors effect led him, unexpectedly and for no clear reason, to abandon his studies and approach this unknown but fascinating world.
After a long apprenticeship assisting Pierpaolo, he began photographing.
Passionate about film photography, he favors fashion but also flirts with the worlds of art and portraiture.
He has been part of the ToiletPaper Magazine team since its founding and has collaborated with magazines such as L’Uomo Vogue, Wallpaper, Vogue Italia, Vanity Fair, Vogue Mexico, and others, as well as with various fashion brands.
